How BackflowPilot handles information

Information we collect
We collect account and company information needed to operate the software. Testing companies may upload customer, property, assembly, test, and reminder information. A person requesting a tester may provide contact and property details voluntarily.
How we use it
We use information to provide the requested software, prepare reports, send configured reminders, support accounts, prevent abuse, improve the service, and respond to tester requests.
Analytics and essential cookies
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights provide aggregated site-usage and performance information without placing analytics cookies or identifying visitors across websites. Signed-in areas use essential Supabase authentication cookies to keep accounts secure and maintain a session. BackflowPilot does not currently use advertising pixels or sell browsing activity.
Tester requests
A tester request is reviewed by BackflowPilot and may be shared with testing companies that have affirmatively opted into the directory and match the selected utility or service area. We do not publish requester contact information.
Service providers
We use infrastructure and communications providers such as Supabase, Vercel, and Resend to operate the service. Stripe and Twilio may process billing or text-message information when those features are enabled.
Retention and choices
We retain information while needed to provide the service, meet legitimate business or legal needs, and protect against misuse. You can request access, correction, or deletion by emailing ben@backflowpilot.com.
Security and contact
We use tenant isolation, access controls, private storage, and encrypted provider connections. No online system is risk-free. Questions can be sent to ben@backflowpilot.com.
